Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association Joins the USYS University

May 4, 2023

etrainu, alongside US Youth Soccer, welcome Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA), who have joined the USYS University.

The US Youth Soccer University is the first-ever gathering of educational resources designed to educate members on a multitude of subjects so they can perform better on and off the field of play.

WYSA is currently implementing their custom platform of the University and will make it available for members over the coming weeks.

Wisconsin Youth Soccer’s vision is to provide memorable experiences, create a soccer culture and instill a lifelong love of the game. Through the USYS University, the entire soccer community can develop their knowledge, creating a deeper appreciation and lifelong love for the game.

The University brings together content from partners like TrueSport, Hospital for Special Surgery, Soccer Parenting, US Center for Safe Sport, Mojo and US Center for Mental Health and Sport. Alongside that, there will be many unique courses designed and developed by US Youth Soccer.

Wisconsin Youth Soccer will leverage the national curriculum to offer a number of courses tailored to players, parents, coaches, administrators and officials.

The University has two subscription tiers: freemium, which contains introductory courses and access to the platform, and premium, which includes exclusive course content for $5 per year. Learners can sign up for the University and select the subscription model that best suits their needs.

VP of Sales & Revenue at etrainu, Cameron O’Riordan, said, “Wisconsin Youth Soccer’s mission to serve, lead and inspire the growth of soccer resonates strongly with the mission of the USYS University. We’re excited to roll the University out to their community.”

“WYSA continually seeks to provide opportunities for our members to enhance their overall soccer experience. etrainu provides additional pathways for our membership to access information and learning experiences,” Patrick Hodgins, Competitions Manager at Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association.
