Louisiana Soccer Association Joins the USYS University

etrainu, alongside US Youth Soccer, welcome Louisiana Soccer Association (LSA), who have joined the USYS University.

The US Youth Soccer University is the first-ever gathering of educational resources designed to educate members on a multitude of subjects so they can perform better on and off the field of play.

Louisiana Soccer Association is currently implementing their own version of the University and will make it available for members over the coming months.

‍

Louisiana Soccer Association seeks to be an essential leader in unifying their memberships to grow, promote, and enhance the culture of soccer across the state. Their core mission is to develop and provide high-quality soccer programs and events to educate and train players, coaches, referees, and all those who support and have a passion for the game. Together with USYS, LSA will provide key opportunities to their members, players, coaches, and referees through the USYS University.

The University will bring together content from partners like TrueSport, Hospital for Special Surgery, Soccer Parenting, US Center for Safe Sport, Mojo and US Center for Mental Health and Sport. Alongside that, there will be a number of unique courses designed and developed by US Youth Soccer.

By implementing this initiative, LSA will offer coaches and officials comprehensive training and educational resources to promote and encourage high standards of integrity, commitment, sportsmanship, and fair play. In doing so, LSA will continue to foster a soccer environment that is cooperative, safe, and fun for all members, both on and off the soccer field.

The University has two subscription tiers, freemium, which contains introductory courses and access to the platform, and premium, which also includes exclusive course content for $5 per year. Learners will be able to sign up for the University and select the subscription model that best suits their needs.
